With the release of the newest version of Drupal just around the corner, I figured it was about time to stop kicking the tires and actually build a project. Since I don't think D8 is quite ready for a client project, my own site would serve as a good candidate for a reboot.
For the sixth straight year, I joined thousands of other web workers from around the world to discuss, conspire, and collaborate on all things Drupal. This year, we took over downtown Los Angeles for our annual pow-wow.
It's been an interesting experience being part of a team building a Drupal distribution. The distro bundles a collection of modules and features, all of which get pre-configured during site installation.
